Smith-Mines graduated from Hofstra University School of Law and has been
in private practice since 1987. She is admitted to practice in New York
State and before the United States Supreme Court. The host of "Common Law" for six seasons, Ms. Smith-Mines also wrote a weekly newspaper column on "Women and the Law". She also taught real estate law at two Suffolk County schools for licensing prospective real estate agents and has been quoted in Newsday on matters relating to real estate law. Ms. Smith-Mines is a member of the Suffolk County Bar Association, where she lectures as well as attends seminars in the field of real estate. |
